Loughborough Junction is located between Camberwell and Brixton, served by Thameslink  and Southeastern, and the Oval underground station is in the Borough of Lambeth, on the Northern Line.

There are several excellent primary and secondary schools, and colleges for higher education in Camberwell including Camberwell College of Arts, Lyndhurst Primary School and The Villa Pre-Prep School and Nursery.
